Yemen’s army makes strategical advances in Taiz

DUBAI: Yemen’s army besieged new areas in south-east of Taiz province, Saudi news agency SPA reported Saturday.

The clashes between a Yemeni brigade and Houthi militia in the area of Radaa mount continued.

The army also liberated areas in Al-Aqrud, which led to dozens of deaths and injuries among Houthis, a source from the army said.

Eight of the militants died, while the rest fled the battlefield, the source added.
